promoting all the activities concerning the development of materials and structure testing standards;

cooperating with foreign associations with the same intents (International Congress on Fracture, ICF; European Structural Integrity Society, ESIS; etc.)

organizing meetings (at least, every 2 years), workshops, conferences, debates and courses about fracture phenomena and publishing meetings proceedings, news, journal etc.
